A 300 A ground terminal, a plate, is a clamp that is attached to the welding machine by a cable and fixed to the structure (part) to be welded to conduct a maximum current of 300 A to the weld site to create a short circuit between the electrode and the surface to be welded. On the jaws of the clamp there are copper contact tips connected to each other by a copper plate designed to conduct a maximum current of up to 300 A.
