Spacer XL Strend Pro is a special levelling spacer element designed for laying tiles and cladding. It ensures uniform joint width across the entire surface and at the same time helps maintain a consistent plane of tiles during adhesive curing – the result is professional and aesthetically perfect.
Thanks to the robust XL-type construction, this spacer is suitable for thicker tile and cladding formats. It functions as part of a wedge levelling system – after applying the adhesive, it is inserted under each side of the tile, then a wedge is inserted into the spacer slot and secured with levelling pliers. After the adhesive has dried, the wedges are simply removed by moving along the joint line.
When choosing a spacer, keep in mind the type of tile used. With classic tiles with a bevelled edge, the resulting joint width will be greater by twice the width of the bevel. For the highest precision, we recommend using calibrated or rectified tiles with 90° edges, which allow laying with the narrowest and most precise joints possible.
